The Foothill Dynasty
The Foothill High
School Marching Band is one of the most successful high school bands in the
state of California. In the past 32 years, the band has won nearly
1,000 Sweepstakes awards and 1st place trophies. We also have the
prestigious honor of representing Northern California five times in the
Pasadena Tournament of Roses Parade. No other Northern California band
holds this honor. Other performances include the Fiesta Bowl
in January 2005, the Portland Rose Festival, Hawaii Music Festival, and the Hyack Festival in Vancouver, B.C.
Under the
direction of Bob Moorefield, we feature, in addition to our
marching band and color guard, two jazz bands, winter percussion and guard,
wind ensemble, symphonic band, and concert band.
Sponsor the band! It's tax
deductible, and helps pay for equipment, training, and facilities that will
provide a safe, rewarding environment for the children.

The annual Foothill
Band Spring Concert DVD set is now available to be ordered. In
addition to being a fundraiser for the band the DVD set makes for a
great keepsake. The set includes two DVDs in a double-CD jewel

Booster Meeting Notes:
 | The band will host the 2010
NCBA Winterguard/Percussion championships - this will be a huge
fundraiser for the band, and all band families will be needed to help
make this a success |

| June's booster meeting is at
the Joda Estate on Thursday, June 4th. It is a potluck dinner.

Band
Senior Yearbook order form is now
posted. Deadline to order is May 12. There will be lots of
band memories displayed, each senior will get a page in the book, and
there will be a special collage dedicated to Mr. Moorefield, making this
year's edition a collector's item, to be sure. Senior parents: you
will want to create the letter-sized collage page for your band student.

Awesome fundraising opportunity! TV30
will be doing a documentary on our esteemed Band Director, Bob
Moorefield, aka "Moorf". You can raise money for the band by
soliciting businesses to advertise during the documentary. Click

you can distribute to your favorite dentists, doctors, barbers,
beauticians, auto repair shops, etc. The band receives 50% of the
revenues from this opportunity. |

Lucky S.H.A.R.E.S. cards have
finally arrived!! You can pick one up at the Booster's meeting on
Thursday night or email

to arrange to pick one up at another time. With the card you can
support the General Band fund every time you shop at Lucky, or you can
save your receipts and submit them to have your earnings added to your
student's account. You earn a straight 3% every time you shop at
